The Vision for the Future of ETEC Elschamma Technic Center
My name is Me John Obed Schamma Fenelon, Director and Founder of ETEC Elschamma Technic Center.
In 2019, after many years of struggle and uncertainty with renting space for our school, God placed a vision in my heart: to build a permanent home for ETEC, a place where we could continue empowering and supporting young adult students through professional and technical education.
At that time, I did not even own land. Yet by faith, I contacted four architects and asked them to design the future building project for the school. Even without resources, I believed God would make a way.
The Journey Toward Our Future Campus
Then, in 2023, something extraordinary happened.
A woman who had visited the school back in 2011 contacted me and said she wanted to donate 5 acres of land for the ministry. She gave me the contact information of the lawyer responsible for handling the property. As soon as I called him, I discovered something amazing: the lawyer was one of our former students. Since 2011, he has attended ETEC Elschamma Technic Center to learn English free of charge.
When I explained the vision and spoke with him about the land, he responded with generosity and gratitude. He said:
“Yes, I am Beljour, the lawyer responsible for the land. Since I attended the school for free, I will personally take care of everything concerning the land.”
Today, by the grace of God, we now have the land for the future construction of the ETEC campus. This project will allow us to expand our mission and provide opportunities, education, and hope to even more young adults in our community.
We have not yet started construction, but the door is now open for anyone who would like to support this vision and become part of this mission for the next generation.
Our Current Project
The future ETEC campus will provide expanded facilities and resources to better serve young adults through education, skills development, and community support.
